Why "Tri-Mesa"
We link the corporate employees, residents and schools in the 3 communities along Clairemont Mesa Boulevard (between the 52 and the 15 freeways). Most either work in or live in these three communities - not both. And often those who work here have no idea what is next door to them.
We aim to change that, with this monthly publication, and the causes that we are involved with in the "Tri-Mesa" region of San Diego.
Audience: The average reader of "Tri-Mesa Community Newsletter is between 35-70; has an income of $60,000 or greater; works in R&D, Healthcare or Education. And could live within or outside of Clairemont, Kearny Mesa or Serra Mesa.
History: Tri-Mesa Community Newsletter has been in production since August 2004. The content and readership started as being mainly concerned with community events that could connect all readers in the area. It has since changed to broaden readers' views and resources.
Competition: While there are 9 publications, geographically speaking, not far from and touching on the "tri-mesa" area, most of the competition is name/how long it's been around recognition, and not as design aware. There is no direct competitition, in terms of the breadth of topic covered.
Positioning: The goal of each story, editorial, statistical report and advertisement is to increase readership, both in numbers and in scope.
